Hey Vegas or Clone, does Thomas give you a driving test for the frac/fueler job, if so is it in a bobtail or TT. Pretty sure I could handle the bobtail but I havnt been in a TT since 2003. Was thinking of going back to school for a refresher coarse. What do you guys think?

Mr Salami, you've got so much free time on your hands :biggrin_25518: I thought you might have taken a side job running the reservations desk at the crib. My bad, sorry. Now I suppose I'll just have to ask the rightful (new) owner of that there thread the SAME dang question !!! Does he have the same sign on his desk that Harry Truman had on his Oval Office desk ?? You know, the one that says "The Buck Stops Here" !!!:smt039:offtheair::lurk: How wrong of me to ask a question of a mere interloper on that thread instead of the property owner. Ha ha. But I digress, back to the mission at hand. Time to head over to "I'm a stone cold rookie..........." and ask Waspman about the lodging situation out Sonoring way.

They said I would need to take one, but I haven't yet, probably will on my next day off. It would be on a bobtail.

Hey Clone or Vegas (Clones online right now). Clone ? Are you one of the helpers right now ? I am curious because I got rid of my Hazmat a long time ago and am going to get it in TX. No reason to pay $89 to the gooberment to background check me and turn around and have to pay it again. You guys sound so swamped. Do the Helpers have to already have the Hazmat endorsement prior to starting ? I know you may not know, but I just thought I'd ask. Thanks. How's that schedule work ( in theory ) ?? 4 on 1 off ? 5 and 1 ? 87 and .5 ?

Just pay the govt their bribe so you can get haz mat and drive, it will be worth it. Helpers are hired through a local staffing company so they don't make as much. Helpers don't need haz mat, they don't drive the truck.

Schedule depends on what site you're on. I'm on a site that runs 18 hours and it is supposed to be 5/2 5/3 with 3 crews but they are short handed and we don't know when the next day off will be.. Idk exactly how the 24 hour fracs work.
