Congrats Finesse1, I just finished day 2 in MTI-Trenton. Everything is great so far. Instruction is well planned out and well presented. Very happy with where I'm at! Start Millis 500 tomorrow! Good luck and make sure you have everything on the list in your email.

I'm sittin at the Hess on I77 exit 48 in SC for the night. Deliver in Rock Hill tomorrow morning. Got over 49,000 lbs of malted beverages on board. Scaling was fun! Only a couple hundred pounds to spare overall. I really wish we had sliding fifth wheels! :)

Hi Slim, dont know if u got a reply or not, but we have a Midwest regional division that operates out of our terminals in Trenton, OH (Near Cinti) Streator,IL (about 98 mi from Chicago) and Richfield, WI (Apx 20 mi north of Milwaukee). They prefer u live within 50 miles of a terminal, but it's examined case by case and there's always an exception to the rule (esp for a good driver!). Anyway, the midwest Reg guys run western Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and occasionally Minnesota or Iowa. When I was regional as a solo driver w/a legal logbook the miles were anywhere from 1800-2400/wk, I train students so the extra logbook would beef the miles up somewhat. Hope this helps.

I haven't talked to any trainers yet, other than Bill. I gave them a "ready to go date of Feb 20th. That gives me time to get home and get my road stuff and kiss the grandkids lol. You had mentioned that you might be interested in being my trainer, and if that's still true, I'm good with that. PM me if you want any info. The 20th is a bit flexible too, I mean I can even do the 19th! lol

OK, so I know this won't mean much to the OTR guys, but I am sitting on my best week so far on Regional. I am at my morning delivery in Raleigh, NC with 9:30 hrs left to run to get me home (GA) and already have 2420 miles in the books. And I am expecting at least another 450 more by the end of the day. Not too bad for Monday - Friday!

    Just thought I'd share.

Im sorry. This has been on my mind since I saw the first i'm here link and I apologize if someone has mentioned it already. But you and others, especially those that reguraly post or facebook what there cargo is should consider the potential threat this info causes to your shipment and personal safety. Real time data on the world wide web is not a good idea. Imo.
