I just bought a brand new Webasto Air Top 2000ST from eBay for $799. If you're looking for aux bunk heat, $799 is a great deal for that unit with install kit. No, I'm not the seller.

Love my bunk heater, best thing since sliced bread.

3 days from now I will be cussing and throwing wrenches, er, I mean patiently installing mine. The neat part is that the last owner had the same unit in the truck it's going into, so all the wiring is done, wheeeee!
That ebay seller had 10 units last week and sold them all in 2 days. He added $100 and has sold 3 more already. I bet the guys selling em for $1900 are p1ssed, lol. -
Cutting the holes wont be much fun. I actually had mine installed by a TK Dealer, so I cant complain.

I thought the last owner of the truck had fully installed the webasto before, but upon further inspection, I see that it was only a half-completed job. The hard parts never were done, like cutting, and drilling the fuel tank, dressing the lines, etc.
A bigger job than I had expected, so I splurged and paid Rush to install it. That kinda stung when the bill came to $800. But since I got the whole kit brand new for $799, I came out ahead. I almost bought the same kit last month for nearly $2000, so I saved $400 and got "free" installation.
To their credit, they did a nice job under the sleeper, dressing out the lines and making sure they were all routed correctly. Some of the other aspects of the install were questionable, and I could have done better myself. They also didn't use much sense in the installation location. I suggested the center box under the bunk so the unit wouldn't get beat to death with my tools and junk in the side boxes. Great, but they decided to mount the unit RIGHT IN THE CENTER of the 3' x 3' box, essentially making any storage there impossible. If I put a team in this truck, they will need that space, so I suppose I'll fabricate a metal shroud for the unit.
In summary: WAY too expensive for a basic install, but will be really nice to sleep warm and quiet. Oh wait, that dang reefer.

$ 799 is a good price. I paid $950 for the same unit in toronto, installed it myself in about 3-4 hours, good unit . Enjoy
VisionLogistics Thanks this. -
I've had the T2000 parked in my driveway all night with the webasto turned on medium (12 o'clock) and it's been doing awesome. I am so glad I got it. I may buy another for my W9.
It's 9 degrees outside right now, and my wireless weather sensor I put out there says the cab and sleeper are 77 and holding. I'm quite curious how long it will run until the webasto shuts itself off. The installer wired straight to my batteries, so if the low voltage cutout is too low on the webasto, I'll be needing to install a separate undervoltage cut-out in that circuit so I can start my truck.
Now that I see how the shop did it, I can confidently do it better, and for $800 less to my other trucks.
