We've been taking in 125-175000 bu of dry rice a day Dairyman. Riceland Jonesboro is the largest rice handling/milling facility in the world. I like my job.

Dang, I thought $1.50 a loaded mile was bad. Quoted on a load that paid $1.36 a loaded mile. I was hoping rates would go up not backwards.

You getting any action from the fracking side of things?

More and more I am seeing guys coming in with frac sand in their grain trailers. We've been unloading you and holding it for delivery to the wells in pnumatic trailers.

Didn't know the guys well enough to ask what rate they're getting.

Hasn't been here but might be further south in Kansas. I didn't even think about hauling frac sand in a hopper not much difference than hauling rock.

Dairyman my house to Riceland is about 24 miles. Since 63 is 4 lane it's not bad at all.

Finally got some moisture. It rained 1.30 today which was really nice. We might actually have a good wheat crop for a change.

I hauled a few loads of frac sand from Michigan down to Texas before, it's easy work as long as you don't breathe near it - and you'll find every leak in your trailer. The bad part is that water doesn't clot leaks like other products, and you have to tape known areas beforehand.

Hope things are well for everyone, nothings changed here much. :biggrin_25520:

I've heard diesel prices are supposed to go up significantly by summer. Right now cheapest is $3.75 around here...hope it stays there for a while.
