Staying busy! Dropped in South Plainfield,NJ this morning, got a nice pork roll sandwich from the deli down the road ( if you don't know what pork roll is, it's a Jersey/PA thing, and it's wonderful) getting loaded in Edison, NJ right down the road for Minneapolis. That's 1185 loaded and 6 empty. Not too shabby for a Monday.

hey joseph1135. I have been with Lessors for a year now and have few complaints. All in all its a pretty good company. You said you do the Cali load "all the time"? I beg for these loads but have only been to Cali twice in the year I have been here. I have been to Seattle twice as well. How do you manage to get them so often?
-
Not all the time. Lol. I meant that you can make these loads on time all the time. The guys who say you can't either have no idea what they are doing or they don't care about what they are doing
-
Do they go to canada they are no joke 2 miles from my house in mn
-
No Canada. Lol. None. Emptied out in Minneapolis and went to the yard, I'm now on a 1789 mile load (including deadhead) with 5 stops, Macclenny, 2 in Jacksonville, some other place and finals out in Ocala. Can't think of the 4th stop! Del. Monday and Tuesday. Then more than likely get a load back to the Midwest, probably Minnesota. I could've gone back east to Jersey but I want a break from the cold so I opted for Florida.

I'm not gonna say Joseph is a company plant, but having worked at Lessors for well over a year, with no accidents or a single service failure,I would encourage readers to view his posts with a jaundiced eye..In other words, what I read of his experiences at Lessors certainly don't correspond with mine..
He's absolutely correct about some things. They have the best looking equipment that's sitting in a truckstop for three days waiting on a load. The benefits,if you aren't dropped because you haven't met the miles quota they set,are real dodgy..When I worked there a few years ago, they'd drop your health insurance, earned vacation pay and pay raise eligibilty IF you didn't run around 12,000 miles or so a month for 3 consecutive months..(I may be off on the exact number) --Thing is,they'd have you layed over for days at a time and you couldn't get a load from them for love or money..
After that, you are considered a ''part time'' driver..I got the news I was a part time driver while running a load in California..Funny thing, was at the time, I lived on the east coast.Hell of a commute for a ''part time'' job.
Again,I want to stress, that I have plenty of experience,I'd run every mile they'd give me,never had an accident or a service failure..When I first started w/them the miles were great.Towards the end,I was lucky to get 1,700 miles a week from them..I had to leave..
This post from an old thread sums up my experience at Lessors..

workinman1962 and Voyager1968 Thank this. -
There must have been a reason for you not to get miles. Maybe you were here when the economy was doing poorly and freight wasn't moving. But I'd show my Qualcomm/paystubs to anyone. Not a company plant, I drive 1512 and I'd be willing to talk to anyone. It's a good company.

Keeping busy! Unloading right now in Ocala then heading to Umatilla to pick up to take to Byron Center, MI for Friday. Nice 3000 mile week with 5 extra stops on the load I just emptied out with. I like staying busy.

On my way up here to Byron Center, Michigan, got another load to pick up in the morning after I'm empty for delivery on Saturday morning. Picking up in Stanwood, MI and deliver in Hopkins, MN. 642 loaded and 60 empty. That's a total of 3671 miles for the week plus 5 stops makes for another good paycheck.
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Just dropped in Hopkins, MN. Had to pick up a driver who had a wreck and dropped him at the yard. Go another load that picks up in the yard that heads down to Alachua, Florida for Tuesday. Start off the week with 1374 miles! I need to take a break.
Jarhed1964 Thanks this.
