Wow! That's almost like a DOD blackout for an op somewhere that doesn't habla american. I'm afraid my wishful thinkin that something here will be great is delusions of granduer! I give my dedicated run a week b4 it implodes.I will have to do some chicken manure run that will screw up my hrs and it will knock me off to normal crappy runs that you wait around for 15-18 hrs to go 120 miles or less-just sayin..

 

Shrugofatlas tom will let you change trainers but you need to tell him, dont ask. Be careful about changing trainers though , you might get foxfire

Hey, did I meet you last week by chance in Sacramento?

I had a chance to talk to FoxFire and DocHolliday . . . they raised some cane at Greeley. Apparently we're on our way back there. We'll see what happens. Apparently I'm either going to get fired or get a 3rd trainer . . . perhaps its a "me" issue, I'll have to talk to my therapist about that.

 

If your gonna be going with your 3rd trainer its a you issue.

 

As soon as I read this:

I knew you would have problems with trainers. What does that have to do with anything?? Why does every newb think they need to fill us in on their background as if it matters??
Then this:

You complain about the trainer being un-safe but you say this:

So your willing to violate HOS if you could but speeding is a down right no-no??

I'm not gonna approve of all the actions of the trainers either, but come on man, some of the things your complaining about are just petty.

This is something you can only learn by doing it. Every person will tell you something different about shifting but it's something that just gets better with experience.

The route you complained about from Gainesville,GA to Tomah,WI is an STAA approved route, as I've had to run it myself, although it does suck but there are no weight restrictions, just some by-passes around the towns.

Then get mad because he did't go in the scalehouse with you?? He wasn't driving you were, what would you have done if you were solo when you got your first inspection?? The scale master isn't gonna beat you or anything.

As far as sleeping at shippers/receivers or rest areas, alot of drivers do that, it's not my prefrence nor does it seem like it's yours, but you can control that when you get your truck.

Just suck it up and get your training done, then you can do things your way.

 

newbie ??? i been driven long as you have boss, i jus dont count 10 years becuz i was only runnin 4 states b4 that i ran local had a cdl since i was 18 i am almost 50,.im still on here...so jump in me an servicmasters wager winner take all! he worries me little more than you do, but i could be wrong,,, if you do we arnt counting per diem...jus so you know
