Had a 700 mile run from VA to QC, now I have a 600+ run from ON back down to VA.
Oh and $20 for crossing the border each way. cha-ching!
I still contend Canadian customs officers are much nicer than US Customs officers.

I left Celadon. I couldn't take the crap miles and crap insurance. I dropped the truck in Greensboro and caught a plane to my new jobs Orientation. They gave all excuses and asked me to stay. The biggest pay check I saw was $497 take home, please, if I wanted a part time job, I would of taken one. And in the month I gave them I had 7 different DM's what a joke. Now I will be on the DAC watch to make sure they don't ruin it. Also to make sure I get all my money back from them. Celadon was a joke!

My miles have picked up recently. Which is a good sign. I agree, not having a DM sux, though. I have to pester to get anything done, since I'm just an extra on someone's board everyday.

I'm not exactly loving it here (I feel like I'm back at Swift most days) but they're not evil, either, and I cant justify giving up 43 cpm without a really good reason.

I lasted 4 weeks,I am at another company as well making 45the cpm and they are keeping me busy,and1only look around and don't go for the larger companies dispiite whay people say their is mod size companies to out their that pay,as long as you have a good driving record. And Dryfus,I was sent a $550####ing bill from Celadon for "truck recovery, cleaning fee, oration costs) my biggest check was $589. So glad I'm gone, know about 15 to 20 former GM drivers and they all hace said the same, treated like crap and low miles, nag to get moving.

Yeah I went ro a place and I am back to 48 cents a mile and I get paid everything I do. Min, I will make a year is $60,000. I hae a clean DAC and no points do finding something wasn't hard, I could be picky. Celadon better not charge me a truck recovery, cleaning and oreintation fee, I will turn them in. I never signed anything saying they could charge me that. Truck was clean, (I took pictures), I dropped the truck in their yard, The guy signed a sheet. And they bought GM and put us through Oreintation, we didn't have a choice and they never said anything about a fee.

I was on their butts about work constantly. They let me sit in Florida for 6 days. Then the DM at the time made it look like I was dead headed home so they didn't have to pay me. I had to fight for my Money, I noted to them that their own electronic log not to mention I got DOT-ed while I was moving the last day proved it. That company is a joke. I have been driving 22 years and I have never seen such crap before.

You don't have to have EZPass in your truck. It's offered but you have to sign an agreement and pay a deposit (it will be payroll deducted).
