Bingo there Injun. The idea of "paid in full" seems to have been lost somewhere recently. Society seems to want to persecute a person for the rest of their lives when they do something wrong.

It depends on the offense. If you're talking about baby rapers, then I don't believe there is any redemption. (Not talking about the 20 year old with the 16 year old girlfriend...I mean child molesters.) But if we're talking about someone who beat somebody up for messing with a family member, a bar brawl, up to and including actually shooting and killing someone because the "victim" was caught en coitus with the spouse of the shooter, once the time is served, parole conditions met and shown to be a productive person, let it go, already. There are crimes that have to be addressed severely, but are extremely unlikely to ever be repeated. No reason someone can't go on to a good life, and should be afforded the opportunity to do so.

Crimes with an extremely low level of rehabilitation like sex deviancies, well, maybe those folks need to remain under the microscope longer. Drug dealers? It's not a violent crime and once they are released, there has to be a way for them to make an honest living. Or, they are very likely to make a living the only way they know how...because their past is always haunting them. Debt is paid. Like a credit report, after seven years past when that debt was paid, the slate should be completely blank. They should be given identical rights to any other citizen. Including firearms. Let them go on about their lives as if nothing ever happened. Then, if it is repeated, lock them in a room and throw away the room. They will have proven rehabilitation is beyond their reach.

But, I have been called a "radical Conservative" before.

Its amazing how the criminals have all the rights and as armed citizens you have to ge thru so much red tape to even keep you firearm in your own house. If you carry a concealed weapon, you have to be in immediate danger(meaning they shot 1st anf then you can) before pulling your weapon

Sad that this video is from Las Vegas at the intersection of Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara Ave by the World Largest Gift Shop. Now as a gun carrier would i have been able to use Deadly Force for the attack on this video if it was me. According to Nevada Laws i would have had Every Right to use deadly force due to the fact this person had in their possession a deadly wepon and was in the act of using that wepon against me and my property. This person in the Video would have suffered fatal wounds had that been my car with my grand kids in the car with me or even by myself.
