Lease purchase is a joke. And you don't have to have an MBA to figure that out. Simple math will tell the tale that you won't make much money if any, running for .90 cpm. These BFI's rope these young kids, most of whom, have no education beyond highschool if even that. They talk them into signing a lease that they probably don't even read or understand and then they are thrown to the wolves to either sink or swim. And yes some are allowed to succeed so they can be held up as shining examples of how wonderful their fleece/purchase is.

 

I agree you got to throw that company driver mindset out the window.You going to succeed if you have a mindset to. We have a fleet with 200 drivers and we avg about 40 drivers walking around with titles in there hand every year. Some make it some dont. Mostly its the mindset that makes them fail. I dont like leasing at all but its an opportunity for me to secure a truck to make way more later. Its a goal i have. I understand success isnt a destination but a journey.Some say save your money buy a truck i did that i got 14,000 in saving i cant get a loan.So i went lease. and im not rolling in cash but. I am doing better than when i was company.Thats my take i got 20yrs driving took me 14yrs to wake up.

 

I to was with jct and they suck, not to mention that Shannon is an idiot, and without him jct might be a better place to work.

You want to restate that? I own the title to mine after my 5 year lease .our old timers own 3-4 trucks.

 

Jct is basically an outlaw running operation...if you don't run illegal, then they don't want you...

If you can't make a decent living without having to run illegal, then that co isn't worth squat.
