yeah...traced it down to my battery kill switch. My truck's computer will drain the batteries in about 3 days if i let it, so I had a battery kill switch mounted right next to my seat inn the floor. ran the negative cable to it, and from there to the truck. when i got home, flip, off go the batteries and no drain. well, the switch must have worn out some as I wasn't getting a good negative ground. routed the wires around the switch...problem solved!!

This is a Volvo low voltage alert. It is explained in the owners manual. If the truck has run a couple hours, alternater is good and connections are clean , replace the batteries.
-
well....it looks like the connections (battery kill switch) weren't clean. -
Ok. Let me ask you a question sbaumann?
When all that happens? When the truck is off or on?
And if that happens if truck is on and you have battery lamp flashing or showing on your dashboard then that means either you have bad alternator, or bad wiring problem.
Usually the alarm sound in sleeper activates when the one or the batteries are dead.
then you get flashing lights on your front penal.
See if when your engine runs check the voltage its supposed to be 13.8-14.3 volts. if under then i believe the alternator is the problem. -
ALL trucks are known for their electrical probs.
