Well the Gary yard...hmmmm the road leading up has much to be desired! Got in this morn and instructed to relay load. Utilized the showers then got out as I was to hurry to the shipper in Morris. Well at 1st glance I was hemmed in about 30 min to wait on the train to clear the tracks. Got a message asking me if I was on my way to shipper...only to get here, now 45 minutes as the load is not ready. If they hurry I'll have just enough to make con in St Louis for a 5:30 am delivery.

You could...but I think he'd remember you. He still asks about you now and then.

At Stockman's Truck Stop in South St. Paul, MN. Finished my Home Depot three stop load and had the pleasure of driving through the twin cities at 1730...LOL!

Pick up in Menomonie tomorrow and then drop the relay at Gary along with my truck before going home. Time for the truck's PM.

I'd rather be in Chicago at 1730 than the Cities. I just don't like driving up there.

I could have delivered at 1600 but you can't deliver those Home Depot loads more than an hour early or its considered a service failure. Stupidest thing I've ever heard of!

Just dont send in any macro's till 55min early. sending a macro doesnt stop you from getting unloaded, think outside the box. Some of those appointments cut close and the extra time is nice if you can get unloaded early than sit around for a half hour or so than send arive and depart at the required time.
