    hey big you said power outlets are not working do all the truck's with apu's have the inverters in them? i was going to bring my own power inverter with me they said the shop can install it for me but if the trucks already have inverters in with the apu i won't bring mine...thanks

    Some of the trucks will have inverters, but most do not. The newer trucks have them tho. Are you going lease or company? If you are going lease, then it would really just be the luck of the draw if one were left in the truck by the previous driver. Hope that this helps.

    Not sure how many do. Mine just has the 2 power outlets from the APU. My truck is fairly new. Only had 14,000 on it when i got it. So, i would agree that it is hit or miss if you get one that has one.

    Have had an interesting day. Got my truck out of the shop with the outlets fixed and had them put on some winter wiper blades. Now, my qualcomm touch screen is frozen. I can only see the first screen on each page, plus I can't do my e logs. Have to do paper for now and be dispatched over the phone.

    I picked up this afternoon in Atchison, KS going to Gidley, IL for the morning. It is going to a place called Kerry Ingredients. Funny thing about that, I was the shipping Coordinator for Kerry Ingredients in Plant City, FL. It is a small world!:biggrin_25523:

    Missplaced if you want the shop to install your inverter they will charge you 150.00 up front (out of pocket) until you have built up your maint. acct.I did the same thing and brought mine to orientation and they told me I would have to pay 150.00 up front.I went ahead and waited till I could build up my maint. acct. to make sure I even was going to work here.

    Delivered in Gridley, IL this morning. Got my next load as soon I was empty. Picking up tomorrow in Rockford going to Wichita, KS for monday.

    Good week this weeks for miles, 3,058. Got a motel room for tonight. Going to watch some hoops today.:yes2557:

    I delivered this morning in Wichita. Was given a choice of 3 loads.


    Wichita to Bluffton, IN
    McPherson, KS to Springfield, KY
    McPherson, KS to Milwaukee, WI

    I took the Springfield, KY load. Light load, and the farther south, the better this time of year. HA!

    I am know it isn't always true but seems like alot of posts from ACT there are no appt times. You get it there as soon as you get it there. That would be nice if they were all like that. Ain't going to happen, I know.
