Is this like with any other business do you pay your income taxes on a quarterly average then get a refund at the end of the year on any overages you might have paid. Does anyone know how the personal property tax works on the truck while under the lease? I imagine once I own the title I just pay it to my county assessor. And once again I appreciate all of your help everyone on here has been great!

It depends on the customer and desperate they are to move there freight......I would say 25% of the time they agree. Most guys don't like the NE......doesn't faze me if I can get the tolls payed for.

Runningman, I've read a lot of your posts lately and it sounds like crst malone has treated you pretty good. I'm in the process of getting my authority and have been looking into leasing to them. I was just wondering if it is all forced dispatch? I am a farmer also and as you are aware there are times I need to be home. (Planting, harvest, etc) How do they treat theres o/o who would operate similar to that?

I've been toying with the idea of bringing on a second truck/trailer and putting a driver in leased to them too. Thoughts?

how do you store your securement equipment on the lease trucks if there is no headache rack? Do you just have to fit it all in the side boxes?
