:dontknow:In one of the 1st sentences the OP said, "Dont ever lease a truck from them!" I thought all the lease programs are a joke.

I bought a used truck from them to get started so i ended up having conversations with many of the drivers and I will defend many of his statements I bought lunch for a few of them and i heard some pretty sad stories. I was told more than once something like " Home naaa I'm just trying to make a buck" most of them I spoke with were from an inner city area and just wanted out. Almost without fail they asked "Hey how do I get into hauling cars?"

We all know how sad trucking can be for some I personally feel for these guys. After twenty years its horrible he was in that boat but it doesn't mean anything but what it was! We don't know him he might of had some very hard times before this.

People still walk in and lease this trucks so SOME GUYS DO NEED TO HERE IT .....RIGHT

I hope things get better for ya driver!

My lease with USX went fine... I was provided ez pass, pike pass and sun pass...

Got all my maint. Acct money back to. And that routing doesn't apply to lease as its your fuel. I bobtailed from Louisville to detroit no questions asked.

And when I quit, they reported DAC I was eligible for rehire...

Possibly something your leaving out of that story.

Well, the queston is; did he/she read and fully understand the lease contract? Anyone with good business sense should realize that any company that leases you a tractor is not doing it because they want you to succeed, or they like you, or are going to lose money-no! They do it because they are goin to MAKE money off you! So, maybe there were some sneaky, unethical details that were not put forth in the contract-that's up to the driver/owner oper. to find, and if you are going into business by leasing-better have everything read, explained, and clarified to you by your lawyer. This driver obiviously did not for some reason, have all the details clear. I am not saying he/she is right or wrong, or Western Express is a good or bad company. The point is-better read you contract first! Lastly, do you know how Mark Zuckleberg, who owns FACEBOOK, became a billionaire? Well, he was was 70-30 in the startup, but had his lawyers push a rush-to-be signed contract in front of his partner. His partner glanced at it ans was assured by Zuckelbergs lawyers it was a routine signing. In the fine print, he signed away about 29% of his 30% shares in FACEBOOK, and his best friend and busines partner fron college-Zuckleberg later stated-" you should not make bad business deals". Thus, best friend cheated his best friend. Business is tough, no one to blame but yourself if you don't make it.
