Warned, then, Banned

This forum isn't for entertainment purposes? That's what I use it for, it helps me to gather new ideas and unwind after my day. There is information spattered here and there, but mostly it's just people's points of views on different issues.

 

Yep dipschit. The admin pays for the server and domain. I believe it's up to him to call the shots.

You can't let the idiots take over a forum or all the good, normal people would leave. That's why moderation is neccessary.

Many of you don't see bad posts and spammers because the mods are on the ball. Harvey was like Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde. One minute he was posting good, the next minute he was acting like an idiot. He was given several fair chances. He's been back over a dozen times since his banning. I believe that puts him in the stalker category.

This is the #1 trucking forum on the internet because it is ran well. I have nothing but respect for the admins and mods.

 

Or an addict.

 

Harvey's profile says banned. I too have been to "no no" with good reason I might add. However, I will say that Harvey did give me and some others good advice and he was in fact quite funny.

That said this is not my site and I like being able to communicate with other owner operators. It has been a rough go of it lately for my business and Harvey / War games both gave me some good advice.

Some guys do their best to to annoy others on here HARVEY NEVER DID THAT TO ME.

Without knowing the details! All I can add is that I hate to see him banned. (Even if I knew them I would hate it)

So even though your allowed to follow a guy around and annoy a guy to death I know now that the name calling is wrong (even when the majority of people agree) I for one will most likely not do it again because the ones who act like this already know how people feel about them they have heard it before. So instead of doing it here I will just picture in my mind someone being dragged out of a truck, diner or truck stop and educated. (In a professional manner)

That's useless. I can make my IP show up from Arkansas if I want. A 10yr old can make a fake IP address.

 

Its ok I understand it its a private forum and if he was given a couple fair chances and blew it then we cant do anything bout it. But don't say this forum aint entertaining it is outright hilarious alot of the posts. We get the talkin on a subject and absorb info on it but I lost count in how many times I find myself LOLing in my bunk or waiting 2 get loaded on a post that is super funny. I can also tell you awesome people with lots of knowledge that have made me LOL with their projection of personalities here. Hey if Harvey got kicked out he must of kept breaking rules. I don't think staff had chip on their shoulders against him.

 

Personally, I'm glad that the admins on here actually do their job and follow their own rules and TOS. I'm on one site that has specific TOS and hate speach, but the admins/mods couldn't see Bigoted or Racist posts if it slapped them in the face.

 

Pretty much anyone can google their way to a free distorting proxy server in 5 minutes. Not hard to do at all.

 

My brand new peterbilly has had to have 2 of those put in, of course now I am waiting for the muffler bearings to go bad.
