Webasto Bunk Heaters on Sale

    UPDATE: I went out this morning after having ran the webasto for about 15 hours straight on medium heat to determine low voltage cutout characteristics. Outside temp got down to 5 degrees last night, and the truck was still warm inside for the most part this morning, but the webasto was not running. The led was blinking the code for low-voltage shutdown.

    So it appears to have worked great and kept the truck warm for almost 15 hours before automatically shutting down. I tried cranking the truck and it started right up, so all is well in webasto land.

    hey guy not to highjack this thread but everyone with those bunk heaters should also check out the thread by "Gears" titled something like" i almost didnt wake up." it is about using a CO tester with those bunk heaters. check it out i just bought one for my truck for $20. from Ace hardware and think its a great idea for everyone to have.Even those company drivers with heaters should look into this

    the thread is called "I ALMOST didnt wake up this morning" hopefully some one will "dock" that thread somewhere,maybe it already is.I personally have been on the fence about buying a tester and went to store a few times and forgot to get it but after reading that thread went right to Ace and got mine hopefully everyone will do the same $20. to save your life is money well spent
