Small, medium sized (whatever that is), family run. I think they are more prone to treating their drivers like people, not like the mega-carriers' where you're a number. Smaller companies are not going to be running a whole fleet of brand new rigs. Maybe this allows them to pay the drivers better..

 

Well as you are a student and I have seen their trucks on the thruway in NY for many years I think I know what junk is......

 

Ummm the truck is an 06, and has around 700k on it. It's a matter of how good the driver keeps it.

Further....They just picked up 7 new trucks... prostars and cascadias.
I like the layout in this one, so I kept it.

Yeah doesn't look like a trash heap truck. I saw many of you guys when I had my dedicated NYC run then had to go to upstate NY or out 86/17 for a load. You can make an older truck look great with a little TLC! Some or I should say many drivers with the "it ain't mine" attitude will trash something that costs more than the trailer they live in at the trailer park!

looks nice to me what do they haul and do they really get u home on weekends as they say? hows the pay and miles? is it all no touch and drop and hook moving to ny and need to find a solid co to work thats based in ny i like a smaller co with less terminals for weekends r a must for me appreciate ur input thanks

 

still work at superior trucking? im a newbee and im looking for a job, i live is scotia ny, and i see superior trucks all the time at the industrial park.
