This is the Incorrect way to Chain up...
-
Well....I set off the alarms at Eisenhower once again...This time it was the snow on top of the containers......

-
oh hell, I do that a couple times a month. Wait til they lean a ladder against the container and hand you a shovel.
-
I don't climb "Cans"....DOT can kiss my azzhat before I climb up 13 feet in the air without a net.....
-
shiny new chains...
-
Careful....that could be why they want you to climb the ladder....not for snow removal after all!
striker Thanks this. -
Well since you filmed a "How To" video on chaining....I nominate you to do a "How To" on snow removal high altitude style....

otherhalftw, Giggles the Original and striker Thank this. -
Not with those "boys" and their ladders at Eisenhower......they already have a reputation!
Working Class Patriot and striker Thank this. -
Last fall I pulled an ex-covenant USXpress trailer, it had a little metal bracket on the top of the trailer that put me over height. At rest, loaded, it was 13'8" tall. They made me dump my bags an crawl thru the tunnel (loveland was closed). On the way back empty, I was still 13'8". Got flagged in, the guy ran his height pole along the trailer and it bumped something on top. Put the ladder up and made me check it out. Spent 20 minutes in wind/rain with a 3lb sledge, prybar and a screw driver taking the piece off. Looked like it might have held a tracking unit on at one time. I cussed that CDOT guy out for 2 days.
