advice on my cb set up

    If you are gonna have your radio worked on, don't go to Channel 5 CB Shop! (you were very wise in that decision..) Go to the one over by the Petro. Ask for Ray. an old fart, knows his stuff and wont' screw up your radio. Or come up to my area and I'll direct you to the best tech I've ever met. (he won't work on your truck antenna though, but he'll tell you/guide you what to do to make it better.

    I prefer my single antenna's on the drivers side because of all the tree branches on the passenger side just waiting to take that sucker off of there.

    Right...This is the main reason guys would rather have the antenna installed on the drivers side vs. the passenger side...

    For the CB Shop guy to tell you, you had your antenna mounted on the wrong side tho, is a load of crap...It's just a matter of preference on which side to mount the antenna...
