Thanks, that was last week, we lucked out on the winds!! Delivered in Lodi, got 'the load' out of San Leandro and busted our butts to get to Denton, TX on time for our 4 drops. Amazing that they can NEVER have the freight there and ready to load on schedule. We were then given a 'time sensitive' load on a repower to hot foot to Indy. Got a break after that when DD said the only thing he had to give us was either a load out of Ottawa bound for PA or NY (still don't have an EZPass!) or pick up in Beaver Dam, KY to Cleburne, TX. Neither load picked up til today (02/04) and we emptied out on Friday the 3rd. Got some sleep and all of our laundry done, now its time to roll!!

Has anyone heard if Flightwatch made it to El Paso to pick-up his wife??? I haven't seen any posts since the one about losing the trailer door at Champaign.

 

I really hate my job today. I've quit 8 times already in the last 3 hours. Okay, 9 times. Tomorrow will be better I'm sure......

 

I feel your pain.Sitting at the motel losing a boatload of money while truck is down as usual.Call up dispatch to remind them that the repower they gave me to cover the load I was on when the truck went down delivers tuesday in Maryland,and they wont even look at the truck until Monday,hello,do the math.Ok,we will get on it.Do you think that might be a good idea.Somehow Im sure that will get blamed on me because each department doesnt communicate.Ive done my part that somebody else didnt take care of.Imagine that.When I called that put me on the hold line with nine callers in front of me.Not happening I went around that,lol.I think this is kind of important,lol.Well at least I know where we are going to watch the game at.I think Ill call the restaurant down by Graceland anf get them to send the pink Cadillac to get us.

 

I use the emergency message for everything. I don't care.... I need a cash advance, LOL...... emergency. Can't say they didn't see it.

I got in trouble for it once. I sent in emergency message for lumped fee. They said "why is that an emergency"? I said "dude, I gotta take a dump and they don't have a public bathroom, so hurry the hell up and send it".
