Hanging out in the terminal at Springfield today with the trainer while he gets his truck ready. Getting a load tomorrow and heading out.

I got to add this update. I never thought a Freightshaker would have such a nice sound system in it for the radio. I'm loving the music while I'm sitting on my laptop.
Also....anyone got any advice on how to climb up to the top bunk to sleep (when the truck is stopped, of course)? I got up there - but it is so AWKWARD to climb. -
Step on the little black pads

We finally left the terminal earlier today. The starter went out on the truck and had to be fixed. We're now en route to Ohio via Indianapolis on the night of the super bowl. 20 bucks says its the worst traffic ever.

DA1 went through Indy today, said theres signs for you to take 465 around Indy. Normally the traffic is light, but it is Super Bowl...

probably passed you today wished i had known i seen plenty of prime reefers headed east on 70 today but only a few acknowledged the flatbed driver

Well my plans are to go with Prime but I got a small delay. I had my BP read high when I went in for a Physical for my current job a few weeks ago so im trying to figure out what to do about it. My insurance dont kick in for a bit so seeing a doctor is gonna be a hassle, and Im not sure if I can just go to the er and get the meds. Either way best of luck to you out there. Drive safe and keep us updated.

Well my hubby is leaving tonight from Springfield heading to California! I wish I was him right now.. Im stuck in florida...
He has been waiting for his trainer to sign a new lease on a brand new 2012 truck... We skyped yesterday and he showed me around the truck! Its acutally really nice.. I like the bunk style beds and the lil net to hold him in the top bunk while the other driver is driving...
Wish everyone the best of luck! Drive safe and get home to your families safe and sound...
If you have a wife and or kids at the house waiting for you.. never forget that they love and miss you.Quest4ADV Thanks this.
