I never noticed you asking me to clarify this early, so sorry for my tardiness in replying.

Using simple math and logic, if I pour a shot of vodka that is 40% alcohol, and a second shot of vodka that is 40% alcohol, that means that both shots have 40% of the liquid as alcohol. So, 4/10ths of the ounce is alcohol. If I combine the 2 drinks, I do not have 80% alcohol, as both drinks are 40% alcohol out of the 100% of liquid in each ounce.

So, when you have 2 beers at 5.9% alcohol, they cannot become 11.8% alcohol when combined, as the alcoholic content in each drink is not increased. If both beers were the exact same size, then the second beer would have to have been 17.7% alcohol, for the 2 beers together to be 11.8%.

    (17.7+5.9)\2=11.8

Getting drunker with drinking more alcohol has to do with your' body's ability in processing the alcohol, and the speed at which it can do it. The alcoholic content is only one of the factors. A big one, but only one.

Because I am somewhat of a geek, I find this interesting...

    Another question...

Than why does alcohol content go up?

You know like when one takes a breathalizer....

You drink beers that are 5%, and your blood alcohol can increase to 5%, which would make you dead. The legal limit in most states and provinces is .08, meaning .08% blood alcohol level. It will never get over 5%, especially if you're drinking 5% alcoholic content.

Ok, let's move onto Cancer, or strategies of fighting it...conditions that cause it...this will no doubt spill over into several posts...for there's no way I can write about it all in one post...

This is a Health, Fitness, and Wellness Journal...most people wouldn't even bother...a none careing person would say 'screw it'...no one likes me anyways on here, so why should I bother sharing life saving help tips'?

But I'm driven by love and the need to share...love shares...can't seperate the too...

And it also tells you that outter looks or appearances has nothing to do with what resides in the heart...

I'm not a hardcore or even softcore gospel thumper...but I do remember reading in the bible long ago how Jesus said, 'what good is the gospel if you don't share it"?

And of course he was right...Jesus dispersed his love to the world, not just a select few...well actually he told them to share it with the world...and they did, and many have recieved...but what if they did not, and took the attitude of many today?

So again, it's about action, not culture, not political ideology, not in always thinking your right, not in being a woman or a man, but in action...your action towards others will demonstrate what kind of spirit resides in your heart...

All that being said...let's begin...I'll make it short, the first post that is...

Cancer....we all have cancer cells in our bodies...

Why do some get it and others do not?

answer: Enviornment, both external, but more importantly internal...ones internal enviornment has a large effect on whether those cancer cells we all have, and our bodies immune system normal destroys, will multiply quicker than the body can destroy them...

    Interesting fact...

    1. Cancer is caused by a lack of oxygen respiration in the cells...
    (1931 Dr Warburg)
"We know it occurs when any cell is denied 60% of it's oxygen requirment"

So there you go...we know that causes cancer...when cells are denied oxygen...but there are a ton of reasons this can and does occur in some, and not others...

    Another interesting fact...

    1. Cancer cells meet their energy needs in great part, by fermentation.

Normal cells are respatory, breath oxygen, cancer cells fermenate of suger...like how wine or beer fermates...

Cancer cells love sugar, cancer feeds off sugar, the more suger you injest, the more cancer will grow if you already have it, or the more you'll create a suitable enviornment for it to start....

Fermentation allows cancer cells to grow, but they can no longer communicate with rest of body, loose their function...and just take up space...

Anyways...think I'll stop there for now...for it gets rather complicated from here...

But just keep that in mind...cancer starts when a normal cell is denied about 60% of oxygen it needs to function...then the cell becomes 'fermentized' (not sure if that's a word or not)...

When a cell looses it's ability to absorb oxygen, you either get cancer or a tumor...

So why would a cell be denied ability to absorb oxygen?

Many reasons...toxins, carcinigons, which gunk up the cell wall...this is why smoking, or the chemicals from smoking cause cancer...cause they gunk up the cell walls to your lungs...and the cells go from being oxygenated to fermentaded...the fermentaded cells then multiply, but have no function...

So instead of adds just saying 'Smoking causes cancer'...they need to state why smoking causes cancer...like I just did above...

People need to mechanically know why, instead of just ushering out cheezy slogens...now you know why, cause the toxins in cigarett smoke smother the cell walls, and the cells are no longer able to 'breath'...or intake oxygen, thereby becoming fermentized, relying on the fermenization of sugars to feed it'self...

And that will conclude this post...

Next I'll leave a link of some fruits that absolutly you must eat in order to reduce your risk of cancer...some of these fruits contain agents that out right kill cancer cells...fruit you can by every day from the grocery store...

We live in a blessed country where we have access to such fresh produce, but still the lines at McDonalds and Arbies and Burger King are always full and packed...

Where people would rather eat cancer feeding Twinkies and cupcakes than a lemon or cherries...

Cancer loves Ding Dongs...stay away from Ding Dongs, expecially if your older, and have slower metabilism, and don't excercise much...that would be just about every driver...

Stay away from the Ding Dongs...

Truck stop food, added with long hours of sitting, lack of excercise (oxygen to the cells), is a recipy for many health issues...

    To be continued...

One more thing before retire for the night...

Oxygen is like an awesome element...it has so many properties to it that help cells to live, that help us to live, (well, we are cells, made up of billions of them)

The positive effects of oxygen in the blood stream or to many for me to list off right now...but it's one reason why a little excercise before bed is good, at least in my opinion...when you excercise you just breath in more oxygen, and like with fire, when oxygen is added, it burns more effeciantly...

There's a lot of garbadge in your body that needs to go, and supplying your cells with oxygen helps them to 'take out the trash' more effeciently...

And that is the last tip for the night...

I'll be back later to share more wonderful stuff...

yes, I'm still here...but have a lot more distractions now...

    A lot more interactive options...

    Life goes on for all...

But I value all and don't think I'm better than any...so i continue to write on here and else where...

One thing I can say about driving localy, is that my eating habits have improved incredibally...
Now i eat much more fruit, cancer fighting berries of all kinds, brocoli, vegitables ect ect...

And I'm loosing weight like crazy...I'm already tall and slender...but still loosing weight...
And in the mornings...I'm around funny, comedic other drivers...who make you laugh...

From funny lovable old time Red necks to foreignors...

We all get along...and it's great...

And in that sense...my health has improved...

On here...Red necks ostrosize me...but odd thing is, in real life...we get along great...cause I speak their language...

    (hard to explain)...

Rednecks are some honest m/f's...and as long as your honest and real about however you feel...your ok with them...
Kind of like loud expressive Italians in the NE...just be honest...and most will accept you...

Anyways...my physical health has improved since getting local job...i eat way more vegtables and fruit...and move around a lot more...

    ride bike ect ect...

But I'm still in a holding pattern...

waiting for something real big to occur...clearance to land,

and when that does...god willing...I'll be posting on the '$6 million dollar' thread again...we shall see...in the mean time..just trying to live, while not hurting myself or others...later...

ghostchild, since you seem to be one for self improvement, a few suggestions for books, or audio books, are The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. If you haven't checked these out already, get them. I think you're one who could appreciate and implement the thoughts and ideas expressed in those books.

Talked to a driver the other day, he said he was parked at a place near a very small truck stop for over 24 hrs. Got hungry, so he bought a bag of chips cause there was nothing else... :biggrin_25513: Yesterday, saw another driver here at the terminal, he kept buying sodas and chips.... :biggrin_25513: I live in the truck and cook in the truck. Buy groceries at WM whenever I can and never go hungry anywhere.

The fitness and health of a person depends mostly on the condition of the brain and then next to the entire body. The Meditation is the best practice of keeping these both healthy and fit. Taking an hour daily for meditation keeps us away from many problems and we will be stable and also healthy. Please produce some more attachment links regarding the various types of meditative practices and the different advantages of it. .
