Opinions on Mexican truck drivers being allowed in US?

You mean quietly just let everyone walk all over you(us) like they've been doing?

Umm..ok. That strategy has worked real well these past few years. Let's continue with that.

A wiser person than I once wrote; If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.

It plays as well in the late 1700's as it would in the 2000's....if anyone would actually get together, stand up & follow thru.

I've got plenty, and I'm not sharing.

 

Change is truly the only constant in the universe.
It isn't always for the best however.

What if the change isn't for the best?
Should it just be taken on the chin & adapted to?
How far should someone have to go in adapting?
Or, should some things be rallyed against?
What if something should be protested, will one voice mean anything?

Apply these questions to any of the recent (last 10-15 yrs) changes in trucking.
Have you seen much of anything coming out of WDC that provided a benefit to drivers in general?

If that particular wisdom worked, we wouldn't have needed unions.
None of the unions would be necessary.
Not police, not fire, not electrical, not autoworkers, not plumbers, not tin knockers etc.

If everyone stuck with that "seperatitst" mentality, we'd still have slavery & be working for pennies on the dollar.

I'm all for the "live & let live" concept.
There's just times when certain groups just can't or won't allow that.

Today, if you don't have a "gang" you don't get respected in higher circles.

The various groups just come in & force their will on everyone else that is unwilling to offer resistance.

That's our government by its very nature.

If you don't get together on something & vote oppositely, you have no voice; no will.

I see that seperatist mentality as the basic reason drivers are in the shape they are today.

Drivers get run over everyday.
Not by other vehicles, just the powers that be.

Not shareing ? Really? 33 miles from where we live is a meat packing plant. Most workers do not have papers. Know this for fact. Guess what. We are now building a FREE CLINIC with a spanish speakeing doctor, nurse and receptionist.This is being done with a government grant. When a large group came in to work the processing plant they gave locals fair warning to move out. The town is now a little mexico. No one speaks englis. Did I mention they got a block grant to fix up their houses. Guess spray paint is expensive. These are you tax dollars and mine so don't say you don't share. You don't have a choice.

Also my neighbor is DOT. He just got back from more training in IA. Now everybody has to learn to speak spanish. They are not to DOT mex drivers because it's already too hot an issue.
By the way just went to renew hazmat. Did you look at column one? Out of all the eligible id most are for non American.
I've tried to stay off here and just read post but sometimes I just can't keep my big moout shut.

 

New York has over 1 1/2 million illegals in their city alone according to their best guess. They have decided to give them all drivers license so they will get car insurance, well that is their plan. Who thinks these people will go out aand buy car insurance when they don't have to. Do you think they'll wake up one day and say hey I'm going to abide by the law. NOPE They won't.

Heres where I just don't get it, why not once you get all their address just start having immigration pick them up and deport their @zzes out of the country? I have to pay thousands to get a CDL and $80.00 for a passport and they get a car drivers license for $25.00 and their ILLEGAL!

 

If Ronnocomot is making any money other than a web-spammer, he is renting $75/week per person to illegals crammed 30 in a two bedroom townhouse. Of course they move and move and move and most don't make money, unless they stay still for a few months.

If the 4' tall aztecs survive, that is a major accomplishment. They are just taunting with web-spammers like Ronnocomot in their never ending quest for machismo (LOL).

Industry is not making any profit to speak of, except they know its free since tax dollars pay for everything. And Industry and the rich do not pay taxes since GW Bush secretely rewrote our Constitutional Amendments.

Of course the Aztecs have been the end to several great civilizations, and the USA may be another one they destroy. However, there could be a great cleansing of our government which has been prophetized by many important people within the next 2 Presidential terms. Don't hold your breath, but act accordingly: since illegal aliens are the real terrorists to US citizens. Don't tread on me!
