It seems like this would be the way to go if you live in your truck full time. Expensive, but it would save you that much in food on the road.

I have run 2 12v coolers in the trk for 6 years now.both are coleman's and they last about a year or so.
I cook/BBQ all my food then freez 3/4 of it,this gives the coolers a head start.Freez 2 bottles of water and slide them next to the cooling fan.
No lie...after 2 weeks the water is still frozen!
*right now as I type...I'm eating BBQ pork'chops that were frozen 8 days ago.
Ex-Con-Trucker Thanks this. -
I've got 2 Colman coolers that I keep cold while home. Then before I pack them up I add a frozen half gallon of water to each... They stay frozen or close to it for about 2 weeks. then I switch to ice in containers....
My milk stays super cold as well as everything else... It's best to keep the fans clear and well ventalated....Ex-Con-Trucker Thanks this. -
With the same cooler I have? The coleman?
I bought some milk for cereal to test it out, and the milk was cold and perfect for cereal. In fact, I just had cereal for dinner. -
I know 10 different people who had a Coleman and ALL of them burned out their plug. I tried searching online for a metal socket plug but haven't found one yet.
