Post Counts

I found a way to fix this problem. I can't get to it until about 4am tomorrow morning as I have some calls and things to make and it will take me having to hack files to do it. It even takes MY post counts down when I remove threads which sucks. This is a known problem with this software and I will work on it ASAP in the morning so it doesn't happen anymore. Sorry all, I KNOW how you feel...I would have 20,000 if it weren't for that bug, LOL.

 

Ok, post counts are fixed from now on. Whenever a thread/post is removed the member's post count is NOT anymore. I have tested this and it DOES work. Sorry all, I really don't know why the software doesn't do that automatically...but, it didn't. The only forums I do NOT have set to retain posts when post is removed is all forums in here: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/trucking-company-dac-reports/ and only because we simply don't delete threads in there UNLESS they are spam and then they shouldn't retain their posts anyway. So, from now on EVERY main forum WILL keep our post counts.

Mods: I have tested this, BUT if you see ANY errors such as mySQL database error as you are deleting a thread or a post let me know ASAP. This shouldn't happen, but you never know. I will test some more right now to make 100% sure. I had to hack the actual files to allow this, but so far so good.

 

I've been a testing and all works GREAT. YES! Now, my house is in less danger of being burned down! HAHAHA.

 

NP, Baack, I was soooo tired last night that I couldn't even think, LOL. I got it this AM though. I usually go to bed early and get up about 3-4 am to work on here so not so many people are on in case I screw up a file and crash the forum, LOL. Sorry again...should be no problems with post counts now. Hey, post one after me right now, look at your count and then I'll delete it and you can see for sure, ok?
