Being recalled to Dallas. Now waiting to back into Advance Cooling in Yuma to pick up a Taylor Farms load and head in.
    Student is being recalled too.
Something is stirring in the training department. Not sure what. But we'll find out.

TLea, those places beat our trailers up. Maybe it wasn't in so bad a shape when it was dropped off. Driver might even had been told to get it there even if, that happens too. The trailer I pulled out of Dodge City wasn't that old, but it was beat up. And I've seen the spotters whipping those trailers around in there, especially empty and headed to the docks. Cripes.
And Emu, training is cleaning house on trainers. A couple were burned recently being creative and for not giving students enough real first seat hours. Heard guys talking last time I was there.
I got my odd load of non-perishibles to Dallas and was told not to go near the yard, they would drag something out to me later in the day heading home.
So far the new truck has one problem, the weather stripping at the top of the driver's door is coming off. Otherwise, so good so far.
Five weeks and two days out and this load should get me home for a few days.
Off to la-la land for me now.

    I figure somethings going on.
Jr has his name all over this. I feel like I'm in the middle of a urinating contest between un named individuals in the training department.
My average student has over 10,000 miles before getting off the truck. Never had on on here longer than 35 days. I put a lot of effort in training beyond the minimums...
    oh well. We'll see.

Yeah, Jr... AKA Francis is trying to outgrow his pappas shadow. Now he's on the Stevens radio talking about when he was a student blah, blah,YACK! Ask him if he ever returned the pump handle back to loves in Amarillo.....that will get you on his friends list.

Man, I shouldn't be so mean about JR. But that guy really gets on my last nerve. Stevens is going through many changes right now with Clay being the President. Not too sure I want to ride this out again.

Smokr brings up some good points about the trailer. Flustration with JBS being 8 hours late, then having to stop and fix the trailer and the CSR wanting an ETA was on my nerves.

Now the TA in commerce city got the trailer fixed and I was rolling in under 2 hours.

Having a good breakfast in Lamar CO this morning before I head south.

Then it is to the yard from laredo for I have been away from the yard too long.

From my short time at Stevens, two guys that I cant stand are Jr and Adrian. If they were on fire, I would pee on them to put them out.

Adrian really isn't too bad. No one wants a safety director that is friends with everyone. So I can understand his demeanor. But, no one takes JR serious. Not one person I have met. He's a flip flopper and a unessacery individual in general. Just like when Bill left for a bit, everyone thought JR was taking over..... over 100 trainers called in threatening to stop training, why? No one wants to deal with him. He's two faced, back stabbing and a ### - hat. "Look dad, I'm doing a great job as we've gotten rid of all the stupid trainers" gimme a break man. That guy is cancerous.
