How could they go without stopping at the check point with the concrete barriers they have to zig zag around??

Maybe they hit the jackpot in Vegas and were hauling cash? You could have asked them for pointers next time you went there, or maybe for an escort too so you don't have to remove your Qualcomm next time??

Oooo, better yet maybe try had an alien from Roswell in there, by the place u were at before???

Your posts crack me up sometimes LOL

I do remember the Marmons hauling stainless trailers back in the 80's up and down I-40 with bullet proof windshields and plain jane markings with Govt plates and a chase escort.

I always thought this guy's tales were BS until he brought in some proof, pictures he public wasn't supposed to see! It was stuff from Desert Storm.

He told stories of black cars w/ white plates appearing every time those 'hot' loads got held up on a scale...The suits used to walk up and tell him to go as they whipped out their ID's for the scale man...

In the 70's i had a contract to haul into the test site from vegas. They had two rules. 1 don't stop for anything unless the escort directs you to. 2 if someone try's to stop you see rule 1.
Sometimes there would be protestors at the first gate, the lead escort would just push them out of the way.

The one I saw had wraparound turn signals, probably one of the last model years. Had a coffin bunk. But not a scratch on it.

When I picked up at the Korbel winery in California, they had a nice White-Freightliner cabover as their company truck.

This was probably 10 yrs ago or so. Was working for Flying J, making a drop about 2am. This all black truck pulls in, theres a 2 black suburbans & 2 white sedans with it. The Suburbans are in front & in back and the sedans are beside. They pull into pumps in the middle of the fuel island, Surburbans still in front & back the sedans pull into the adjacent islands, passengers in the sedans get out & pump fuel for the truck. Driver & passenger in truck never leave their seats. I dont think they were haulin your average dry freight.

Remember yrs ago reading an article about top secret military loads. It was in NY Times mag or something. But basically saying that its all x special forces guys & they didnt stop for anything. Wish I could remember where it was.

i saw a load once here in nd. about 20 mp's with lights flashing a hand full of Humvees with roof mounted guns and 1 semi in the middle of all of it. i was oncoming on a 2 lane the lead mp car pulled into my lane and stopped me in the road and then continued on. the entire convoy was at least 30 vehicles. theres also a bunch of some type of under ground bunkers or something in this area. that are barley visible from above ground other than a chain link fence surrounding them. don't know what they are but any time there is a vehicle inside the fence there's armed military guarding the gate.

I go to one area where there are alot of signs that say "Deadly Force Authorized", you don't even mess around there. I just go in, load or unload and leave.
