Cobra Channel Screen Fading

    Like an old digital clock the numbers for my channel display are starting to go out. It's a Cobra 148GTL and it's 19 years old. Can this part be replaced? If so, is it possible to make it a different color? (it's currently red, thought it might be fun to customize it with a new color)

    Yes the channel display can be changed and they are available in several colors.

    I thank they come with destruction's or you could send the radio in, I'm not sure where you would buy them maybe eBay or a radio shop.I did not miss spell that LOL

    You can do it yourself, if you're good at soldering. The channel displays are rather sensitive to heat
