I pulled flatbed at my last company, and was there almost 17 yrs. My first company was flatbed as well. Only took me 10 months at my 2nd company to decide reefer wasn't for me. I plan to stick with flatbed, although Sharon told me it would be no problem in the future if I wanted to switch to Van or hopper.

MrEd Back in my younger days I did the flat bed and tanker thing t. At Britton miss Sharon informed me that no flat bed or hopper.Reefer at Britton have been added since I left.Next time you talk to Miss Sharon tell her you been talking to the guy who drop this cell phone in the toiler at the Fargo FlyingJ LOL

I called this morning and they confirmed that they look at total exp, not just the last 3 yrs, so I did the app online.
JoeB Thanks this. -
It won't take Mrs. Winter too long to get back to you Ritchie. I faxed in my app. and they called and invited me up to start the next Tues. I held off a couple weeks so I could give a 2 week notice at the factory I was working at. I couldn't just walk out of the factory, as my wife and I both worked there. I didnt want them getting upset at me and having her left there for them to take it out on. Anyway, was less than 24 hours from when I faxed app till Allison had called me.

A lady from the Britton office called me Friday to confirm a period of self-employment and said she would get back with me in a few days. I hope it come through. It would be a much better option than Arnold...

Did you hear anything yet richieryan?

Yeah, we talked yesterday, but they don't move any freight thru OK, so it's a no-go.

My husband drives for Britton Transport. He runs dry van. As a wife of a trucker, I will honestly say they are a great company. He has never missed a family function and is home every week, great pay and miles. The office staff is awesome. They are a very family oriented company. Would recommend to anyone to drive for Britton Transport!!!
Lost Navigator Thanks this.
