This is no BS, reasons of national security. Anyone who hauls this stuff (like tsmt) have a secret security clearance and cannot discuss the load, security, etc unless you want a visit.

I once was leaving Minot, ND headed towards Williston when I saw a helicopter (which is pretty common since there is an AFB there) then another then 4 or 5 Hummers, then some black SUV's and finally a tractor trailer combination. I can't remember all the specs of it but of course no markings or anything like that and the tractor wasn't camo. It was followed by exactly what was in front of it including a couple more helicopters. I can only figure something with that much security must have been a missile or something like that. It was really cool. I got on the phone and called my wife right away to tell her :)

    Those are ICBM silos.

The guys with the DOE trucks and escorts are Federal Couriers. I used to live in Panhandle, Tx and knew a couple of the guys. They had some seriously strenuous physical tests they had to pass every year or two. And said very little else about their jobs. If asked about weaponry, their only response was "we have what we need."

The bunkers you see are the nuclear missle silos. They watch them things like a hawk. I was running a combine right next to one two years ago in the middle of nowhere and once I combined up close to the fence two humve's came flying down the road and sat there and watched untill we were done harvesting t hat field. If you ever notice the the little road signs around here that say J-5 or P-F-5 and a a areow pointing down a sideroad thats the silo numbers and the direction their in

Now this is just what one of my old bosses told me. I wasnt around these parts back than but he told me a few years back they moved some of those nukes from their silos in eastern ND to western ND and other locations farther west. He said it was all on truck and just how you described with multiple Humvee escorts with guns blazin and helicopter escorts. He said you didnt dare pass them way get in their way otherwise they would move you.
