OZR corp Vp's and agents try to cut in on my freight daily! A customer of mine had a bid packet with over 4000 lanes. Landstar sent it to FOUR agents to bid on against each other. I was awarded the business, to find out corporate had given it to other agents. I put a lot of time and money into that business for them to take it away. Do not thiink it does not happen because it does.

Trust me, I know what you mean. Landstar isn't what it used to be, but it's still a great place to be.

Are you only allowed to give your loads to LS BCO's and approved carriers or can you broker out as well?

Maybe you mis-read something I posted, because I never claimed to be the end all be all of trucking knowledge? And though I may sit at a desk, there's enough experience in our offices from the driving side just as much as the office side to help me with just about any question I have.

Unless you're in the office hustling to move loads.....sitting behind a wheel ain't cutting it. You have no idea what is really going on in the real world. I don't care who you are. That's the problem today. We have to many yahoos sitting behind these wheels that don't know a thing about trucking. Nothing personal, just stating a fact.

Works both ways in the "real world". Best of luck to you in your world.
