Hey everyone. I've been doing some research on trucking and feel I might want to get into it. As a teenager, I drove tractor trailers a little bit for a moving company. I worked for over twenty years in the chemical manufacturing field as a technician, chemist, and supervisor. I left there due to ethical concerns among management and have been looking for a job for 4 months.
I have talked to recruiters at FFE and Prime about taking their training classes and driving for them, at least until I won't owe anything for the training.
Can anyone give me advice on other companies, or what to expect, or... anything at all?
I see so many blogs bad mouthing prime, but just as many praising it. Haven't read much at all on opinions of FFE.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome from someone else looking at trucking. I have been looking for a while and read many pros and cons for many companies. I have narrowed it down to Stevens Transport and Central Refrigerated both seem similar. Though leaning towards Stevens for training just because they are in my home state and may help cut overall expenses.
Good Luck.Bill104 Thanks this. -
Every company has pros and cons, look at there web sites to see whst they offer and ask drivers still driving for said company, any company is what you make of it.
Good luck. -
