That was another concern I had. The Central drivers say that if you want to stay Company, they won't push you. I think it would be foolish to lease with anyone being new into the business. Until you have a few years under your belt and know the ins and outs. And at that point, if your in a position to, I think buying a truck is a much smarter plan than leasing one.
Prime or Central Refrigerated ??

Looks like I am going to stick with my first choice (Central).
Thanks for your input...I appreciate it. -
I'm learning for Prime right now and not once have they ever mentioned going Lease. They tell you about the option - but that's up to you. I'm working with a Lease-Op, and he's showing me all his books and everything - but other than that, when it comes down to it - It becomes my choice.
-
How long have you been training? How do you like it?
-
Ok. You set me straight. Why do you think he's showing you all his books. Maybe Prime is priming you for your own lease????
-
Ding ding ding ding.... Give that man a cigar!! Same thing is done at Central... But you also have the opportunity to say no... Can you at Prime? I don't know because we have never worked for them.
-
Funny how that works!
-
NO. They won't.
-
Prime does not push their drivers to lease.
