Update on oil. Found the problem. Where the oil psi gauge line comes in through the firewall bulkhead, there is a small sender with two wires one green and one white. Assuming this is a sensor going to the computer? Thought at first it might read oil temp but the wires do not correspond. This tees right off where the braided oil psi gauge hose comes in. Part number on sender shows to be S76051 3 0210 3. We unhooked, plugged and started without any problems, codes, or flucuations in anything. Please advise on what this sensor is. It has a G (ground) and ON (positive) screw on it. It was leaking oil from the end of it...through a rubber small rubber plug. Working on it now so if you have any idea please advise. Thanks guys!

Most likely for the low oil pressures warning lite not sure what engine you have but Pete runs a oil pressure sender under the dash for the kysor system
Scrapper Thanks this. -
hey man thanks...thats what we thought...it looks identical to the one on the air side of the bulk head. Its an 03 W900 with a CAT 3406E. Is it only for the light or does it run to the computer? Looks like a simple psi switch like you are saying. Only two wires. Just want to be sure so we can get him back on the road soon. Will have to wait to replace the switch. Not worried about the driver. He watches his gauges religiously.

Engine ecm has an oil pressure sensor alt the block that should be for the warning lite its a normally closed switch and when oil pressure builds up it becomes open or that's how it should be if o remember right as long as your driver watches the gauge you should be good buy definitely get it fixed I belive that dot requires it but don't take my word on it hope I helped a little
