Stevens and my DD214

    So I just printed up a copy of Stevens application and noticed when asked if ever one has ever served, they want the narrative as too why you discharged. What I am curious about is my narrative isn't all that great due to being made an example of, from a female CO that was trying to get a star on her shoulder boards. I had followed the regs to a T. I did screw up once and basically ratted myself out for it after it happened. Do they go by case by case basis on the narratives. I am sure something like a drug charge would be an automatic no. Any and all input would be appreciated.

    Depends on what type of charge and how long ago. They hired me with possession for sales and a few others, but they were all over 25 years previous. They had no real questions. I also could have lied, none of my stuff comes up on any background checks and I have had several done. Both by myself and by employers, some a LOT more picky than Stevens. If you've been a good boy for several years they will probably give you a pass.

    But DO NOT lie about anything they can find out about or you will be done.

    they hired me w/ multiple felony's all mine r on background check. the last chaege has to be 7 years old
