I came home for a 34 hour reset yesterday simply because I delivered 20 miles from the house and it was my wifes birthday. Called today to see if I had a load for tomorrow and find out that I dont have a load yet, but I am now on workflow. My DBL cranked my truck up and updated everything for me while was here at home...wasnt that nice of him? :biggrin_2552:

So, I get to do the workflow thing tomorrow. Not looking forward to it, but it had to happen sometime!

Once you get use to it, it's actually a lot easirer than the old system. Still there's bugs to be worked out...

be glad you got trained. looks to me like the owner ops are going to get switched over with no training. the website says when you get to your first pickup after workflow upgrade call in for assistance. wont that be fun, every owner op calling in within a few hours of each other

From what I've heard everyone is suppose to transfer over by end of Feb. Training is pretty easy and only about an hour or so. System itself is not too hard to figure out, but because of the bugs and dbl's having to do more now, you'll end up on the phone more...so upgrade your phone plans :)

Yes, Its easier. But say you go to pick up at a paper company. They reject your trailer. You cant just punch in for another trailer. You have to call in so your DBL can change your events to go looking for another trailer. This takes hours. Meanwhile your 14 hour time is ticking down. Plus they want it picked soon. So your put on the spot. Ten years ago Schneider was a good place to work. I liked it. Why cant they just stay with what works? Im not on Workflow anymore. Nice working with you. Be Safe.
