Unfortunately, most of the drivers with insight are probably out until the weekend.

I don't know about your specific situation, but after researching Mav's 'Specialized' outfit, I decided to go w/ McElroy (Cuba, AL / Pleasant Hill, NC), because I wanted flatbed. Honestly, only YOU can say what kind of work you want to do.

I'm from SC, but went to school in Spindale, NC because it just "felt right"...So basically, make your list of pros/cons and jump in! :biggrin_255:

Between Schneider and Maverick, I'd choose Maverick. Only basing that off the fact that both are equally good, but Maverick has a better reputation from other drivers. Schneider is still picked on alot, eventhough they are a good outfit.

If it were me, I wouldn't choose to pull a tank starting out. But its all up to you really. Nothing wrong with flatbedding or tankers. Have heard nothing but good about Maverick, haven't heard much at all about the big pumpkin lately. Just remember, there is alot of physical work in pulling a flatbed. I've never pulled a tanker.

Thanks for the advise. I am leaning to flatbed but I am not sure about the school thing. I keep getting different answers about when I am going. So I am thinking I will go with whatever one comes thru first.

Well thank the Lord Maverick called today. They had a cancellation and they called and said it was all mine. I am leaving and have to be in Little Rock on Sunday. I was able to get into the non glass division. I didn't want to do glass so it worked out really well. I don't think I will have internet when I am there so I will have to catch up to all you folks when I become one of you. Thanks for all the help.
