That is an absolute shame they all three of them got banned. I wish the mods would take a serious look at the warning procedures and punishment prior to permanent bans. From personal experience, it seems a bit over the top....especially when you consider all of the excellent posts those three have made here. Regardless of spats or arguments....they were excellent contributors to TTR.

 

In terms of years of driving only 2 can be called veterans one has only been on the road a few months, hardly enough time to be called a "veteran trucker".

 

IMO, it's not necessary to start another thread about this situation. If has been pretty much been rehashed in a few of the threads on the forum. When their vacations are up, they are welcome to come back and be a contributing TTR member.

Did anyone say anything about permanent bans in the case of these three ladies? No. They were sent on vacation to cool off a bit.

As for your "personal experience", sir, it was to be a permanent ban. And a well deserved one, since you started off on this site by breaking the one rule that is usually enforced, NO MATTER WHAT. You started off by advertising.

Take a serious look at warning procedures and punishments? Maybe we would be better off to take a good look at what/who we reconsider.

 

As it was discussed in my numerous emails...it was not intentional and despite my best efforts, I'll never be able to prove to you I'm not a recruiter. I can only go from here and prove to you that I'm a stand up american citizen that is a huge proponent for the trucking industry. I apologize for assuming they were permanent bans. I didn't see a single mod post on it. I saw the word ban and automatically assumed it was permanent. My apologies.

 

i wouldnt want your job...not only do you have to root out problems....then you gotta deal with the aftershocks....

 

That apology sounded like it was from the heart. As a fellow newcomer to this site, I would like to say that at first I was leery of LSA but I've noticed that as he gets more familiar with the setup here that he does give some thoughtful and helpful advice. And I must admit that he often times gives helpful posts on matters that can in no way be construed as being anything other than helpful. That said, I'm still not gonna vote for him for Mod. But, hey, he seems passably human. for an office type.
