Sitting in the Graveyard. (Gary, IN) No preplan so I am at the wishes of weekend planners tomorrow. The winds around Chicago were something fierce today. Was on an overpass going from I-355 to I-88 and I swear I almost got blown off. Then on my way to help another driver, on a 30 mph slight right hand curve, I end up on the opposite side of the road. Started the turn and the truck decided that it wasn't going to listen. CLUTCH, and turn is all I could do. Finally regained traction and kept on going. Talk about the pucker factor getting a little high! Let's hope for a load in the morning!

Well I run Midwest regional so 12 is a lot for me. :) I'm almost out of clean clothes. I'm going to start staying out longer and probably going to national to get more miles. We will see how it works.

I'm bringing a 2 stop flat relay there in the morning. It's only going up Marshfield though for 0700 Monday, then Hammond, WI after that. It's from Ghent.

Regional can get tricky, when freight gets soft regional can certainly feel it. Makes sure your better half is cool with you being gone more and if she is (and you don't miss the kids too much) make the switch. Best of luck to ya.

Yeah that's the problem, slow week kills me since I'm out 5 days or so. Kids are getting used to me being gone. They act like its a big deal when I'm home though so that's nice. :)

I went from the 7/4,7/3 to national. Got less miles. Ended up always staging loads for the 7 day fleets. Wasn't worth it for me. Good luck if u decide to try it. Maybe it will work out better for you.

Will see how it works out. I've done 7/4 7/3 and 7/7 before and wasn't making any $. If it stinks I can always go back.

Does he still have the same FM up in Marshfield? Seems like his is a decent one.
