Hey RHM. I wish you were with me today. I went to the pilot in Indiana on i80 exit 2. Incase y'all don't know its 5 diesel lanes and 8 parking spots that are two hour limit parking. So yeah, its small.

Anyway, I pull up behind a guy in the last lane. He's sitting in the fuel island. I figure he's about to leave. 5 minutes pass by and nothing... Then a few minutes later he gets out of his truck and goes inside. He was inside long enough for my trucks idle timer to set off and shut my truck down.

So I'm a little mad that he's taking so long, there's at least 4 trucks out on the road waiting to turn in here to get fuel. The guy comes out of the pilot and gets in his truck, so i crank my truck up, then yet again he gets out and goes back inside. I'm sitting here thinking WTF??

So he comes back and puts the fuel hoses in his tanks, so now after all this time he's JUST NOW getting fuel.

He then goes back inside while his truck is fueling. He comes back out, takes the nozzles off and puts them up. Then yet again, GOES BACK INSIDE!

Now I'm pissed. And everyone on the radio is cussing him for everything he's worth.

So he finally comes out, gets in his truck and pulls up, then goes BACK inside!

I pull up, fuel, clean my windows, and check my oil. He's still inside.

Two guys that came around me to get to the exit from the cat scale are now blocked in by this jack donkey.

One guy gets out and lowers the guys landing gear since he's seen everything that this jerk has been doing.

After i sit there along with the other guys, he comes out and finally leaves. Didn't realize his landing gear was down until he left and it scraped on the ground during the exit of the pilot lol.

This guy truly didn't know what he was doing, and to top off all of this, he bought 4 GALLONS, THAT'S IT!!!!!!

 

I hear that. Unfortunately I don't like confrontation. I'm a very hands on person. We had to be when i worked in the jail. I just try to stay calm. I still was about to go up and say something. But I knew id either end up hands on or making him crap his pants lol. I'm 5'7" and 250. I'm like a pit bull, sorta lol

 

That's true, I agree 100% lol.

I thought it was hilarious. On the thread about parking and blocking in someone at 0300. One if my friends pulled the guys fifth wheel lock. Then was able to back out. Hopefully the guy does a good pre trip lol. After seeing the lowered landing gear thing it reminded me of that haha
