It's not the best time of year to be changing to any company.

I run everywhere, if the load pays the right money I go.

And I usually stay out 3-5 weeks.

I honestly don't see where it would be an issue.

I am also interested in leasing onto Mercer...I am looking for more information from drivers and any opinions about the company. How much do the coordinators help or are you on your own for finding loads? And is the trailer lease to purchase program worth it or should I buy one on my own?

My opinion about Mercer is this: they are great people, and it is a good company to be doing business with.

As far as the coordinators go there are alot of good ones and some that just plain suck. I got a good one from the get go, some others haven't been so lucky. If you get a good one you really don't need to find anything yourself. However I would not recommend you leave it all to just a coordinator, even if you get one of the best ones.

If you can buy a trailer on your own I would recommend you do it. You will be better off.

If you have anymore questions please fill free to ask.

Most of the loads I haul will not because I pull a step and haul alot of machinery. Most of the loads that I see on the guys with regular flats trailers will work.

I'm sure freight will be better in March. But probably depends on your current situation.
I can't say much about my coodinator. I seem to haveta find my own loads on the board but he seems a nice guy, goes home early and always busy on the phone.
