USX drivers...how's your day??

Nothing like a little "time off" huh?

 

Well we barely stayed ahead of the winter weather warnings all the way across the country on I 40. Just got our preplan to pick up in Charlotte tomorrow night and run to San Bernardino. Pain just delayed I guess.

Could always be worse,,,just pray they don't kick us out of here until we get a load...not too many places to park...

 

The only FedEx we have ever not been able to sleep at was E Moline on a sunday since they close. Never had a problem at any other location

 

unless oakland has changed you can park on the street out side

 

Call your FM and tell them you want to run to a truck stop. There are 3 I think within 50 miles. Stockton, Modesto area

 

We sat there all night last week. Nobody said a thing.

 

AHHHHH....sitting at home finally.

This morning after we dropped in Orlando, they tried to give us a load picking up in Atlanta and going to Houston. I about lost it right there. It turned out they thought we had already been on T/O...LOL...so they just had me deadhead down home. One of these days they will figure out they should give us a load to Miami to get us home.

hey folks I'm a student looking REALLY hard at USX. Could someone tell me what goes on at oreintation and which manovers i'll be requried to do for 'tread1'?
