Youll moat likely need a certfied shop since it ties into the air system and then run air switch to the dash. Like the power divider. I bet some the big truck shops can do it.

You're not gonna like this but here goes....

Back in the 90's the outfit I worked for in Canada, Sunbury Transport tested this type of chains on several of their B-train chip haulers. Lots of ice, snow and hilly back roads;including remote woodland loading points. They were an epic failure, not worth a ####. The "chains" ripped off the drive wheels regularly, often the wheels themselves.

At the same time the Provincial govt tried them on their snowplow trucks and took em off before the winter was half over.

Regardless of what anybody claims I would not trust my life (or loved ones) to them.

Fedex has them on their fleet, when we baught the shaker it had them on. Just flip the toggle switches there are 2 of them on the dash and away they go but still have to carry the drag chains but doesn't take long to put a set on.a fellow trucker i ran into in vancouver wa says a company in oregon makes them hebaught a set for his truck and says he really likes them and they work really good I have yet to try ours out. The truck came from an owner op in reno.
