The same brand trailer in a step weighs 1,100lbs more than a flat 48ft
My 48ft wilson stepdeck has aluminum cross members aluminum rails and deck with two boxes and straps down each side and a set of ramp/levelers I'm at 11,500 with no gear on the trailer
My transcraft is a 53ft with metal cross members and it's 13,400lbs with ramps/levelers but has no boxes (sliding axle)

We'll if the trailer weighted 10,500 I can do 50,500 but 52k and being legal sounds like a day cab thing.
