So I delivered to a "special" place yesterday, and as I was recovering from the cavity search, a hefty woman crawls up in the passenger seat, armed with a "tactikool" AR and says "let's go". She was with me the whole time at the special place, not for protection, but to shoot ME if I acted up. Just thought I'd share a new experience.
By the way for the gun folks, railed 16" AR, Aimpoint, BUIS, flip bipod, and a vfg.

No, not her job! The cavity search was of the truck actually by three different people.

I have had that happen at Nuclear sites before, but never at a military base. At one Nuclear site you either have to leave your tarps outside the gate or totally unroll them and re-roll them before they let you in, that is how thorough the inspection is . DOE is much tougher inspecting trucks then DoD sites.

Dont you just love the "special places"? I know I do LOL Was at one this morning when the "guard" come out to two of us waiting to get ID back and they did the " which one of you is Mr so and so?" question to make sure you are who you say you are in the pic ID and the other guy didnt answer to his name when asked twice and I started to shuffle my feet away as I knew what was coming next (the "guard" had that Houston we got a problem look) and luckily the guy finally says "oh thats me" WHEW!!! I squirted a little in my shorts.

Thank you for the sleepy time story. If you think that you are special enough to garner an armed guard, and that "they" don't know who you are, what your url is and where you spend your time on the internet...I'd just say that if it was true, you'd not be spilling it here on a public board. Otherwise you, sir, are a security risk. Those that are trusted to the deeds keep their mouths shut...

Unless you're just like all of the "Navy Seals and Green Barets" that are out here.

LOL, you're welcome for the story. No it wasn't military, and the freight I had on was about as plain jane as you get. It was where I went. Another poster nailed it. As I said, the guard was to make sure I didn't do anything stupid. Of course they know who I am, the background check they ran probably told them the last time I went to the bathroom. BTW, I've been to a few places like where I went quite often, and never had this treatment.

Oh yeah, what did I spill? I was very delicate in my description. Unlike some of the other posts recently concerning high risk, high value shipments. By the way, Green Beret is spelled this way, a baret is something little girls put in their hair.
