You know as well as I do how picky Hard Drive can be. I figure if someone wanted to blow money on it it's not my concern what they have. Unless one is causing a problem but I think first trying to correct the problem is better than yanking something out you did not really have to remove. Especially if they remember how much they wasted on the stupid toys. In 95 in Mt. I used to offer 10 percent off labor if I could remove or disable their roger beep. I Hate those things.

AB7IF, did you also offer a discount if on exports, if you remove the "band" switch and hard wire the radio so it wouldn't go off of 11 meters?

If a person owns a car what right do I have to tell them where to drive it. I believe in individual liberty not fascism. Everyone can be responsible for themselves.

Then in that case, I will presume your reason for offering 10% off of labor in exchange that you remove or disable the roger beep, was because by removing said roger beep, it made your job of working on the radio a little easier.

But it initially sounded like you were more interested in removing said roger beep, solely because you hated them and wanted to eliminate them as much as you possibly could.

I second the second idea. I "hated them and wanted to eliminate them as much as you possibly could".

There was a group of ladies in billings in 95, around 20 or so, who all ran with beeps eternally on, all ran 19, and all constantly quick keyed on top of each other. A never ending bleepedy bleepedy bleep 5 channels either side of 19.

Is bleepedy a word? It is when describing that group.
