Look into Cross Creek Trucking out of Central Point OR, that would be close by.

Wouldn't that be kind of like re-marrying an ex-wife?

Try craigslist, the surrounding county's including Oregon. I believe humbolt serves crescent city. While a terminal/yard would be nice, you might look for hiring areas instead.

My husband worked for them for quite a few years..great company, friendly staff, good paychecks but he only got through home once a week. They paid his insurance also, i wouldnt mind if he went back to them. Overall one of the better ones.

Why don't you get an address where company's hire through a small mail service or storage unit... you are going to be in the truck 6 weeks at the time (if you are about to be evicted). Is that all there is to it? And even Central Refrigerated and Swift hire from most of Cali...

Go out to the oilfields and start knocking on their doors.

i agree on the oilfield gig. Key has openings for water haulers in ND and they'll even put you up in housing they have temp. i havent done it yet, but if i dont find something soon, i may be heading that way. i dont wont to leave my home and family, but if you can't pay the bills...
