BigKid2 is right, I got trashed when I posted our experiances with JCT and many have come and gone sense then. I would never suggest anyone going to JCT.

The only reason you got trashed is you didn't tell the whole story.. You complained that they don't have miles for teams but yet, many of the teams there made good money.

I want to thank all of you guys for this information. I've been with JCT for a few years and can say these elogs are killing me. If they could plan or swap us out better on loads it might be alright. My miles have gone down from 3500 or so to around 2000. I want to find something else because this doesn't seem to be going good. I've got escrow and maintenance accumulated so I guess I'll lose it. The truck is good and clean but I figure they'll come up with something. Anybody got any horror stories?

If you don't mind me asking and please don't take these questions personally, but what exactly is the issue?

Are they not planning/dispatching these loads correctly?

Is it harder for drivers/dispatchers to keep up with the elogs?

Is the freight just not there?

I mean, to honestly go from 3k miles down to 2k miles (based on just SlimJim's scenario) is quite a dramatic decrease. Something has to be going on to warrant these changes.

    Thanks.

Like I've told you, they are going through changes, they just started the elogs for a few months. I believe it'll take a good year to get everything straight from load planning to drivers planning their runs. Look for the new normal to be from 2500-3000 miles. I heard they are working on changing the compensation in goiter management our lower truck payments. Nothing set in stone yet but they are working on it.
