Hmm, I think that most of the folks here are being KIND, GENEROUS, THOUGHTFUL, HELPFUL, INSIGHTFUL, CARING, and offering perspective on what to expect. No offense Phro, but I doubt you knew nor had EVERYTHING you needed on your truck when you first got started. I am thankful that folks are helping others transition into this career. I am hopefully headed to school soon and being a bit of a perfectionist any insight will help overcome my own neurosis for particularities and both my bred and instilled disciplines of youth to military. So thank you EVERYONE including my bro Phro!

Hey Rollover, Much appreciation on the post. Lots of good info. Not into hurting people but I do understand the necessity of protection out there. looking forward to open road...and the congestion of city drops...

I have an iphone and just use the Google maps app which shows you where you are, search and locate, driving directions, etc...works great. Once I get on the road I know I'll need it while trying to earn those first checks...

I'm a vet and they used to say they fed us rock salt so we wouldn't have any "rising" issues if ya know what I mean...can't say I would've had that issue on a boat with 500 guys but OK...using for this method is much more acceptable...
