Yeah, so far so good, have little on the negative side to say about them, whenever we've asked for home time, they've been more than happy to give us it; and most importantly they run us ... Are you letting them pay your way into CDL school and getting your CDL?

No I paid outta my pocket and attended smith and Solomon cost 3200 bucks but I got my cdl. After talking with trans am, reading some reports on here, I decided to go with Pam. Pam also is heavy out in the Indianapolis area and I talked with the lady in recruitment explaining that in the near future I am gonna move out there cause my kids are out there(6&8 yr old)

if I told you what I did in the force I'd have to kill ya! :biggrin_25510:

Well PAM's a good company but are they gonna pay you newbie pay? Are they gonna make you go teams? Do you want to be home often? You have an advantage over me and that's that you got your CDL on your own, make sure you make a wise and informed decision so that you won't regret paying those $3200 later on ...

Canteen specialist. I like that. And now you, and I, are Commodity Relocation Specialists. :)

And I'm eating milk and oreos.

I am interested in getting started my father was a trucker for years and I highly enjoy driving and long drives, my initiation into driving was a straight shot trip from RI to east TN at the age of 16 and have been a delivery driver for 2 years with a pizza company and highly enjoy my time in the vehicle, i've yet to be introduced to a vehicle that i cant drive after a little practice. but i am trying to go through driver soultions and get a job with PAM transport but i am only 21 years old so i dont know if they will consider training me. oh well no harm in trying to get out there, and i'm not worried about being away from home since I still live with my mother and have no significant other, the big thing to me is paying back my debt from college which i just dont like where it's going.
